We have over 70 dedicated members of staff, all second to none in their clinical ability. This large team covers all our locations and is led by three directors, Andrew Crane, John Goulding & Stuart Cashmore. The Veterinary Surgeons tend to specialise in either small or equine work. Many of our vets are actively pursuing further post-graduate qualifications in various disciplines. This commitment to excellence benefits your pets, and demonstrates the dedication found within the St George’s Veterinary Group. Their solid expertise ensures the best for your animals. The Emergency Out of Hours Team run the small animal service – they are not involved with daytime rotas. This ensures that all emergencies out of normal hours are handled by staff who are fresh and specialists in dealing with such cases, making the vital difference in your time of need. Cases seen for other Practices are returned to them at the first available opportunity with a full history supplied to the animal’s own veterinary surgeon. Behind the surgeons we have a full team of qualified Veterinary Nurses with Trainees coming through all the time. We have twelve qualified nurses, more than any other practice in the West Midlands. Two have gone on to study for a further qualification – the Diploma in Advanced Surgical Nursing. This again builds our reputation as a Premier Veterinary Group. And supporting all the veterinary staff is an Administration Team who work on Reception, in the Offices or do the general housekeeping. We have found that clients will drive that bit further, just to make sure they have the absolute best for their pet.
