Phil Hancher

After working for the same company for 41 years I decided it was time to leave, so I took a six month sabbatical and contemplated my next challenge. That opportunity came in March 2019 at St George's Vets where I am now the Hospital Administrator.

St George's Vets is a fantastic place to work, and it is good see close up all the tender loving care that the vets, nurses and Aca’s give to all the pets.

I enjoy watching and getting involved in a majority of sports. I have completed the Great North Run five times, and played amateur football in my younger days.

I also enjoy holidaying and travel with my wife and we have been lucky enough to visit some wonderful countries of the world.

We have a 2 year old golden Retriever who is named Holly, and she keeps us fit with all the walking that we do together.
