Hi I’m Paula, I started my training and qualified as an RVN in Bury Lancashire in Dec 2003. I previously worked in an Accident and Emergency department. After 18 years I decided to relocate with my family and now I have taken on a role in nurse consulting with St George's Vets at the Merry Hill branch which I love and every Wednesday I work with a great team at the Hospital. It really does sound like a cliché but I really do enjoy my job – there is never a day that is the same, it is very rewarding. It is a great opportunity to use my knowledge and interact with clients and their much beloved family member.
Over the years I have always continued to further my knowledge by undertaking CPD and so to further my career, I have started a course in Behaviour.
As many nurses do, I have rescued a lot of pets over the years and currently I have 2 Border Collies and 4 cats which are all Domestic Shorthair.
My Mum Jennifer and daughter Lexi have always been very supportive in everything that I do even to the point where they were willing to go through such a big move and relocate with me. So, in my spare time I just love to hang out with them both and spend much quality time with them.
