I started working at St. George's in May 2017, as a part-time receptionist for the Bushbury branch. A job that involves caring for animals and people is perfect - very rewarding and I really enjoy it. It is a privilege to be part of the friendly team that look after people's much loved pets.
Before joining St. George's, I was employed in the rail industry and then the charity sector. Over the years, I have enjoyed doing some voluntary work.. This has included work in the UK for support and befriending charities, and overseas in Mozambique and Romania, refurbishing orphanage buildings and helping to look after the kids there.
I have a travel bug and enjoy all types of adventures - near and far, with a few more places that still need ticking off my bucket list. In the festive season, I like to visit the Christmas markets in Germany. As for hobbies, I do some gardening, cooking and I am a bit of a rail enthusiast!
Pet-wise, we are kept busy by two cheeky terriers - Roland and Florence, a retired horse called Joe and his RSPCA rescue companion pony, Sky. I love them all to bits!
