I started working for St George's at the beginning of 2015, having previously worked as a duty manager in the retail field. However, animals have always been my passion and I completed a Diploma in Animal Management in 2012, prior to applying to work at St George's. My career goal would be to study veterinary nursing. However my dream would be to work in a wild animal sanctuary.
Our house has always been full of pets ever since I was little, with us owning 9 cats and a dog at one point during my teenage years. Now, with 2 small children as well, there is just 2; my middle-aged stubborn cat, Sylvie (named after Sylvester and Tweety), and my boisterous, loopy but very loving Staffy Cross, Lara.
In the little spare time I get after spending time with my 2 children, I enjoy getting a bit crafty, I make beaded jewellery and keyrings and have recently learnt to crochet.
