My association with St George’s actually started as an equine client in the 1980s. As a vet student, I spent time seeing practice here and subsequently qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in July 1999. I was always impressed with the high levels of patient and client care I witnessed at St George’s, so was delighted to join the practice in October 2000, after spending a year working in Yorkshire.
I spent time working in both the hospital and the branch surgeries and in 2006 I joined John and Andrew as a director of the practice. I no longer work at the hospital, but am one of the vets at our Bushbury surgery. I can often be found covering shifts at the other branches too. As a director, I’m responsible for our branch surgeries and strive to ensure that they’re friendly and approachable places, where our clients can always come for pet care advice – no matter how small they may feel their problem is.
Outside of work, I have two horses and 2 dogs, which take up most of my spare time. I also enjoy seeing live music and going on holiday.
