Would your pet benefit from physiotherapy?
Our Physiotherapist Steph is qualified with a BSc(Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy and is registered with the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists.
Steph has been associated with the practice for several years, working alongside the hospital and branch surgeries. She has extensive experience working in the field of canine physiotherapy and can offer various therapies tailored specifically to meet your pet’s individual needs.
Your veterinary surgeon will provide Steph with all of the necessary information to ensure the best possible treatment is given.
Our pets can experience similar problems to humans, but unfortunately, they are not able to tell us where the pain is or if they have injured themselves. We always aim to give your pet the best possible care and we believe that Physiotherapy can help ease pain and discomfort from a range of common conditions and can also aid post-operative care.
Treatment services include manual therapies such as massage and stretching, remedial exercise prescription to suit the rehabilitation or fitness requirements of your pet and electrotherapies including neuromuscular stimulation and pulsed magnetic field.
Common conditions treated include:
