Your Pet

Some helpful information from St George's Vets

Whether you’re a seasoned pet owner or someone completely new to the idea of life with an animal in the house, we’re here to offer essential advice, support and medical services.

Maybe you’ve recently moved into the area with your pet, are simply transferring your pet from a different local veterinary practice, or are the proud owner of a new pet – we’d like to extend a very warm and friendly welcome to both of you!

Every pet has essential health care needs – whether it’s vaccinations, neutering, diet and nutrition advice, or help with general health and wellbeing. So be sure to register your pet with us straight away and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon... Why not pop in for an informal ‘meet and greet’ so your friend can get used to visiting the surgery while they’re feeling bright and well?

Some form of pet insurance, health plan or starter package is also an important consideration, to help protect them as well as your finances. All pets, regardless of their age, should be protected by an appropriate scheme/plan to help you budget for any potential medical requirements.

New pet owner?

Bringing a new pet into the household can be a little daunting, especially if you’re a first-time owner. A lot of enquiries that we receive are from new pet owners who aren’t fully aware of what’s expected of them as a responsible pet owner.

In the case of a new puppy, kitten or baby bunny, we recommend that you book a FREE 30 minute appointment with one of our fully qualified Pet Healthcare Nurses to help you understand the best way to give your new addition the best possible start in life.
