I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2005 and have worked at St George's since 2007. I started as a full-time nurse at our Wolverhampton hospital but am now part time and work predominantly at our Halesowen branch, which has a small but wonderful team.
I have a Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel called Chester, a domestic short haired tabby cat called Toby, and our two recent additions Waffle and Cookie, our guinea pigs.
I have a passion for consulting nursing as I love to build and develop professional and friendly relationships with clients and their pets. It's lovely to see kittens and puppies come in with their owners at 6-8 weeks old and then see them back every 2-4 weeks and watch them grow into a much-loved member of the family.
In my spare time I am at home with my partner and two daughters, so life revolves around school, swimming lessons and dance classes. For leisure I enjoy being outdoors, travelling to new places, and listening to live music.
