I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse with Merit in 2008 and have since completed many additional areas of CPD including a Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy, Bereavement Counselling, Pet insurance advisor and various Nutrition courses. I am continuing to expand my knowledge and currently completing a Oral care nurse certificate and Pet Health counsellor course.
After spending 10 years working in a Veterinary hospital, I have taken on the role of First Opinion Nurse at Sedgley and am enjoying all aspects of working at the branch. Consulting provides a great opportunity for me to use my experience and knowledge and interact with clients to give first class care and advice about their much loved pet. I really enjoy my job - every day is different, rewarding and there is no other job I would rather do.
I live with my husband Adam, and our two children Nico and Eden. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, running and going on holiday whenever we can.
We have a 13 year old mixed breed terrier called “Scruff”, our two Guinea pigs “George Pig” and “Lord Garmadon” and a recently rescued Netherland Dwarf rabbit named “Boly”.
